Community Resource Guide for Youth Services

Our Youth is Our Future, Let's Make It Violence Free!

Choctaw Nation Project C.R.I.M.E.S. has compiled this resource guide to assist parents, schools, various agencies/organizations, and the general public in helping our youth. This guide is intended to mobilize community resources, resulting in improving the quality of life for Native American Families. Although there are some agencies that only assist Native Americans, most of the services found in this guide are not race specific. Feel free to copy and distribute this guide as needed.

Services have been categorized by county. Counties within the Choctaw Nation service area are listed first, followed by out-of-area counties. You will find the name of the agency followed by a short description (if available) and contact information. The agencies listed in this guide offer a wide variety of services, such as: substance abuse programs, prevention programs, educational assistance, financial assistance, mental health services, etc. We hope that you will find this guide useful in assisting youth.

The map below illustrates the 10 1/2 counties, in the state of Oklahoma, that are included in the service area of Choctaw Nation. When 10 1/2 counties is listed as the area served for the agencies listed in this guide, these are the counties we are referring to.
